Imperial player Vinícius "VINI" Figueiredo in an interview with BLAST shared how his transition to the team captain role is progressing. After Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's departure, the team was briefly led by Ricardo "boltz" Prass.

VINI said that he progresses every day and tries to improve the performance of each player within the team system. However, the Brazilian noted that he focuses more on basic skills, as soon all the tournaments will shift to CS2.

There’s a lot of new stuff that I'm learning day by day and I'm finding new ways in how to look at the game. Nowadays it's more about understanding more of my role and how I can make each of my players play better in our own system. In-game it's more about refining our basics and waiting for CS2 to launch, and then grinding the new game to understand how to use the new mechanics.

Imperial's next match will be against Party Astronauts at BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023. This event is a qualifier for BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 and will still be played on CS:GO. However, the main LAN event will already take place on CS2.
