Valve has released a small update for CS2 with grenade fixes

Developers released a small patch for Counter Strike. It mainly fixed a few minor bugs, most of which were related to grenades.

Update Text

Gameplay

  • Fixed a bug where changing the grenade throw strength sometimes occurred with a delay.
  • Fixed a bug where trying to switch between grenades immediately after a throw would cancel the throw.
  • Medium strength grenade throws can now be made by simultaneously pressing the left and right mouse buttons.
  • Fixed several instances where players got stuck while sliding.
  • Players' pings will now match the player's color.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed the calculation error of "MVP for ace" when teams had different numbers of players.
  • Fixed a bonus money error with kicked players.

Note that without major updates, the online presence of CS2 has noticeably dropped. Releasing an operation or an improved anti-cheat could rectify the situation. Rumors suggest "VAC 2.0" might happen on December 5th.
