Valve has released an update for CS2 with fixes for Anubis and Ancient

A minor patch has been rolled out in Counter-Strike 2, where developers have focused on fixing two new maps - Anubis and Ancient. The physics of ragdoll models in the water and malfunctioning incendiary grenades in it were also corrected.

MAPS

Anubis

  • Improved movement clipping map-wide
  • Adjustments to collision around pillars
  • Plugged holes in world geometry
  • Fixed issues with weapon and bomb clipping through world geometry

Ancient

  • Improved water clarity at T spawn
  • Adjustments to jumpable locations
  • Adjustments to collision around corners
  • Various adjustments to lighting

MISC

  • Fixed an issue with round restart in the middle of weapon reloading
  • Fixed a case where incendiary grenades fail to detonate in water
  • Ragdoll limbs splash when they hit water

Remember that yesterday Valve also released a blog post regarding the future of the pro scene, obliging tournament operators to make the competition ecosystem more open by 2025.
