Valve fixed a smoke bug on Nuke at B site in CS2

The developers of Counter-Strike 2 released a minor update on the game's release day, aimed at addressing some significant bugs. The changelog appeared in the game's official blog.

Sound

  • Gun sounds no longer sound as if they're coming from the point where the zoom was made.

Water

  • Modified water on Nuke to fix the smoke grenade issue.
  • Reduced the maximum number of reflections on water, as they stood out too much and were distracting.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed an instance where the panel wouldn't appear after death.
  • Fixed an instance where the sight preview wasn't showing up in the game settings.
  • Fixed an instance where debugging text appeared on the sight.

Recall that in the previous update, Valve also fixed oneway smokes, various movement animations, and added new sound settings. The full changelog is available in our material.
