In the latest Counter-Strike update, Valve released the full version of Counter-Strike 2, which replaced CS:GO and closed the CS2 beta test.
The updated version has received many changes in various components of the game compared to the test version. In particular, the previous achievements in the Premier mode were canceled and now the first full-fledged Premier season in matchmaking has officially begun. In addition, banned cheaters will be punished by losing their profile rank and rating.
A few more interesting updates:
CS2 Update: Changes to Inferno, Bug Fixes, and Animation Rarity
- Bugs to do with unintended visibility through walls were fixed
- Adjusted smoke behavior to cover cases where smoke would stop less than a player's height above the ground
- New audio customization settings added
- Fixed a bug where scoping in affected directional sound
- First person damage sounds are now more impactful
- Lean, jump, and jiggle-peeking animations have been adjusted
- Weekly drops replaced with a "Weekly care package"
Counter-Strike 2 looks interesting and promising. If the developers listen to the wishes and suggestions of users, the new game has a high chance of surpassing CS:GO.
