Twistzzzz wrote a great review of SS2 after a week of training

FaZe Clan team riffler Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken wrote a great review of Counter-Strike 2 on his official Twitter today after a week of practicing with the team.

For starters, Twistzzz highlighted three major negatives of the game:

1. Audio needs to be adjusted still but I do like the settings that are available.
2. Jumping accuracy seems too good, I don't remember getting jumping dinked so often (same could be said for running accuracy)
3. Given that HE's are much stronger in cs2, more damage and breaking smokes. I think this hit audio queue needs to be removed, it provides a lot of information, where HE's are usually used after you have info and the info gathering part is already applied by breaking smokes. This could just be my opinion and others may like this.

In the same post, he highlighted as many as five points on the positive aspects of the game that the player liked:

1. After playing on lower ping (2 - 5) I feel that the game is way more responsive and although the peekers advantage is still annoying, it does happen less due to being able to react properly.
2. The team play is very fun in cs2. Smokes add a new dynamic which utilizes team communication a lot more.
3. Open skybox's seem to fit the game perfectly, the meta is going to be constantly developing and it's going to be very exciting.
4. I'm still unsure about increased shadows in certain areas but over the past week this isn't something I felt was actually bad in anyway, so for now this is a positive for me.
5. The map re-works and small changes made have been really nice to play, especially inferno. Re-works like this allow for so much more player creativity, new perfect flashes and nade lineups.
Over all I enjoy it much more now than I did before. I will say that it's unfortunate how PC demanding the game is and for professionals it is definitely required to have the best PC possible. The game on completely low settings is not easy to play with visually but I'm sure some future updates will increase fps just like they did in csgo.

Let us remind you that CS2 was released to the public on September 27, 2023. But for FaZe Clan the first tournament on this game will be Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023, which will start on October 16, 2023.
