Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken commented on his underwhelming individual performance against MOUZ at the ESL Pro League Season 18 on his Twitter account.

The Canadian player noted that the release of Counter-Strike 2 greatly affected his desire to explore new things in CS:GO. As a result, he's ending the era of the previous game with an individual performance that doesn't satisfy him.

Inconsistency is a huge problem for me at the moment and can be caused by a variety of things. Unfortunately for me, my motivation dropped a lot with CS2 always being in my mind. The effort to find new things, a new smoke or flash, knowing that it will be useless at any time because of the unknown release date of the new game, and also playing the new game and knowing the issues it has at the moment, I let this impact me and I now I end CSGO with a performance I will regret having.

FaZe was defeated by MOUZ in the ⅛ playoffs of EPL S18. The match ended with a score of 2:0: Mirage – 16:10, Inferno – 16:5. Twistzz scored a 4.4 rating with a 18-37 stat. In the quarterfinals, MOUZ will face G2.
