Skyesports has confirmed an increase in the prize pool for the upcoming Skyesports Championship 2024 tournament. The originally announced prize pool was $200,000 but has now been increased to $300,000 thanks to the sale of the event's broadcast rights to Russian, Portuguese, Mongolian and Polish media companies. This was announced by Skyesports CEO and founder Shiva Nandi on Instagram.
Nandi also reported that more than eight teams will participate in the event. Just recently, Skyesports confirmed that 12 teams will participate in the tournament out of which 10 are invited teams and two that have qualified, they are 3DMAX and True Rippers. The remaining invited teams will be joined by four more.

The Skyesports Championship 2024 tournament was originally scheduled to feature eight teams. These teams were to compete in Mumbai from July 23 to 28, 2024 for a prize pool of $200,000.
The participating teams will include TheMongolz, FURIA, Eternal Fire, BetBoom, 3DMAX, Aurora, Revenant and True Rippers, with four more invited teams to join them. These teams will come to India to compete for the increased prize pool.
