Gen.G returns to the professional Counter-Strike scene after 5 years of absence, this time with an ambitious Chinese roster. The organization presented a team that included a former s1 youth academy player, as well as experienced esports players rosar, sanres, screamy and, possibly, a Dota 2 player miracle.

In 2019, Gen.G disbanded their CS:GO roster, focusing on other disciplines such as League of Legends and Fortnite. However, the organization decided to return to the competitive CS2 scene, this time focusing on the Chinese region.
