The first playoff map between MOUZ and Team Spirit at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 has already made history in CS2. Mirage attracted 1,391,207 peak viewers — more than the entire Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 [the Grand Final between Spirit and FaZe peaked at 1,329,860 viewers], and more than any previous match of the current major in Austin.

And this is only the first map of the quarterfinals. Upcoming matches featuring FaZe, Vitality against NAVI, could mean that numbers might climb even higher and set an absolute record in CS history.

Mirage Details

Mirage was very intense: the teams constantly traded rounds, and the outcome was decided in clutches — with Spirit often emerging victorious, winning 7:3 in clutches. MOUZ led during the second half with a score of 12:8, but Spirit stepped up at the right moment and started a comeback, equalizing the score and taking the game into overtime.

The match extended into four overtime series, where both teams showcased brilliant highlights, but in the decisive moments, Spirit managed to win a series of 5 rounds and clinch the victory.
