Reddit enthusiasts found an apparent oversight in Counter-Strike 2 related to the ten-second countdown before the bomb explodes. The sound of the 10-second bomb in Counter-Strike 2 is actually longer than 10 seconds.
A Reddit user recorded a video clearly showing that the ten-second countdown does not correspond to 10 seconds. The community has already started quoting the legendary phrase, 'Is this a bug or a feature?', as this oversight has its logical explanations.
Previously in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the 10-second countdown to the bomb's explosion started later than when there were actually 10 seconds left to the explosion. That means if a player started defusing the bomb at the start of the sound, there's a high chance they won't finish defusing it, especially if they don't have a kit.
But now in Counter-Strike 2, the sound of the 10-second bomb in Counter-Strike 2 actually starts around 10.5-10.9 seconds. This gives the defense players time to react and start defusing the bomb. Although this is a logical explanation, why then call this sound a 10-second countdown?
The question remains open, and it's unclear how Valve will respond to this. To support our words, you just need to look at the video below:
