CS:GO player for Team Liquid, Robert Patsi Isyanov, announced that he is flying to Malta on September 20th, where the ESL Pro League Season 18 tournament is taking place. The esports athlete shared this information on his personal Telegram page.
Leaving for Malta today, might even make it to the match if there are no delays.
Previously, Liquid released an official statement saying the team would play the match against Virtus.pro at EPL S18 with a substitute. Patsi could not reach the championship venue due to visa issues in the USA for participation in future competitions. The team's coach, Damien daps Steel, was supposed to stand-in for Liquid.
EPL S18 runs from August 30 to October 1. The teams are competing for a prize pool of $850,000. The champion will also secure slots at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 and IEM Katowice 2024. You can follow the tournament schedule and results via this link.
