Team 500 have signed a new captain to their CS2 team

Bulgarian 500 team announced that Teodor "SPELLAN" Nikolov has joined them as a main player. Before that, he played for the team for a month during the test period.

According to the organization, he successfully passed the test period, and signed a contract. He replaces the previously departed Denis "Grashog" Hristov, who left the team on July 8, due to a move to the new 500 Rush roster.

Replacement details

SPELLAN has joined the team as captain and this is not his first experience in this. He has previously played with some of this team in SKADE. For the twenty-six year old, this will be the 11th team in his eight year career.

During his career he has managed to earn $69,778 in prize money and his career best result was a 1st place finish at ESEA Season 30: Premier Division - Europe where they were crowned champions and earned $17,500. He has also taken about 30 first places in various tournaments during his career, not including qualifying, which is a pretty good result.

Over the last 3 months, SPELLAN's rating in official matches has been 5.9, but that doesn't make much of an impact since he is the team captain.

I am very happy to be part of the team and to play with the best Bulgarian players in the same team! Also, finally reunited with CeRq after 7 years, I will do my best to make this team work!

Upcoming matches and goals

The team's closest matches will be at ESEA Season 50: Advanced Division - Europe, where if they finish first in the league they will have the opportunity to qualify for ESL Challenger and from there the ESL Pro League.

The team will also miss out on Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, as they are currently ranked 94th in Valve's rankings. That means they won't get a spot in the closed qualifiers, which is where they can qualify for the tournament itself.
