HEROIC has officially announced the signing of sniper Gleb “gr1ks” Gazin. The former Astrum player is the first acquisition for the team as they rebuild following the departure of SunPayus and head coach sAw.

Replacing SunPayus

SunPayus was part of HEROIC for just under six months after transferring from Falcons at the beginning of 2025. With the team, he won the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 and CCT Season 2 Global Finals, and also reached the quarterfinals of ESL Pro League Season 19. SunPayus has now officially signed with G2, where he will take the sniper role.

The New Player

Gr1ks recently played for Astrum (formerly Aurora), where he established himself as a consistent young sniper on the tier-2 scene. In 2024, his average rating was 6.6, and in 2025 it was 6.7. He helped the team win the European Pro League Season 22 and Galaxy Battle 2025 // STARTER, becoming the best player in individual statistics.

The next tournament for the new HEROIC lineup will be FISSURE Playground 1, scheduled from July 15 to 21. The prize pool for the tournament is $1,000,000, with $550,000 allocated for the club and $450,000 for the players.
