Mohan launders Govindasamy, a well-known figure in the Counter-Strike2 esports community, is teaming up with Rivalry Canada to host “launders LAN,” a new CS2 tournament in Toronto.
Building on the success of the previous event, FragFest Toronto, launders LAN promises an improved experience with a two-day format, 32 participating teams and an increased prize pool of $10,000. The tournament will be held in a spacious venue that can accommodate up to 600 people, providing an exciting atmosphere for both players and spectators.

This news comes amid the growing popularity of CS2 LAN tournaments in North America. Launders LAN adds to this growing trend by providing another platform for competitive CS2 in the region.
However, launders LAN faces some potential competition as it takes place a week after another major CS2 event, Fragadelphia Miami, which takes place approximately 1,500 miles away. While there may be some overlap between players, significant geographic distance minimizes the likelihood of spillover between two events.
Registration details for launders LAN have not yet been announced, but interested teams can join the Rivalry Canada Discord server for more information.
