Step by step, Counter-Strike 2 is losing popularity, with average online fell by 0.57% in January

Today it became known that in January our beloved Counter-Strike 2 once again failed to maintain its popularity. In the outgoing month, the average online fell by 0.57%.

Since the release of Counter-Strike 2, the game has already lost more than 30% of active users due to inactivity on the part of the developers.

Certainly, one cannot say that the developers are sitting on the couch doing nothing. Day by day players find new bugs and shortcomings, and Valve makes corrections as quickly as they can.

But still, players are waiting for Valve to return all the content that was in CS:GO, and they are not even talking about new content, like a new operation. Players want the return of Danger Zone or all maps in the "Wingman" mode, the ability to create lobbies, and much more. However, the developers are currently busy with something else.

In the end, we have such a picture. The average online for the last 30 days was 765,832 players, which is 5,000 less than last month, or even 211,000 less compared to when the game was released to the public. The peak of players in January was 1,277,907 players.
