Today users encountered problems when trying to access the Steam Community domain. As a result, the “Community”, “My Profile” and “Inventory” tabs won't open, causing frustration among gamers and traders.
Preliminary indications point to a possible removal of DNS records for the steamcommunity domain. This has led to a partial restriction of access to the service. Because of this, most of the skin sharing platforms are also experiencing difficulties in operation. Trades have slowed down or stopped completely.
Valve has not yet released an official statement on the matter, but it is assumed that technicians are already working on restoring normal operation of the service.
Steam Community access issues may also affect other aspects of the platform, including social interactions and group participation. Valve is expected to resolve the issue as soon as possible to minimize inconvenience to users.
