The group stage of ESL Impact League Season 5 Finals has come to an end, revealing the best and strongest participants of the tournament. The group compositions and results were quite unexpected.

In Group A the teams Imperial fe, HSG fe, BIG EQUIPA and FlyQuest RED fought. In turn, Let Her Cook, Fluxo Demons, NAVI Javelins and TSM Shimmer fought in Group B. Despite the intense competition, some teams were unable to overcome the group stage and left the tournament. NAVI Javelins, TSM Shimmer, BIG EQUIPA and FlyQuest RED were among those eliminated.

Now that the groups are finalized, the playoffs have determined the pairs that will battle it out to reach the finals. Imperial fe and Fluxo Demons will face off in one of the matches. Imperial fe showed strong play in the group and intend to continue their winning streak, having previously beaten HSG fe and BIG EQUIPA. Fluxo Demons, on the other hand, are ready to put up a fight and move on, they came out of Group B with one loss to Let Her Cook, and beat TSM Shimmer and NAVI Javelins to advance to the playoffs.

The other semifinal promises to be no less interesting: Let Her Cook, who went undefeated against NAVI Javelins and Fluxo Demons, will face HSG fe, who came out of Group B with one loss against Imperial fe, and won against FlyQuest RED and BIG EQUIPA to advance to the playoffs. Both teams showed a high level of play and are determined to make it to the finals to battle for the tournament's top prize.

The group stage MVP was Olga “Olga” Rodrigues from HSG fe with a 7.0 rating over 6 cards.

The teams that make it to the semifinals will battle it out for the final round and a chance to win the ESL Impact League Season 5 title, as well as $50,000.
