Esports club Evil Geniuses announced changes in the second CS:GO team. Peter stanislaw Yarguz left the EG Black roster, and he was replaced by Jadan HexT Postma, who was demoted from the primary team of the organization.
HexT was transferred to EG Black after the club completed the transfer of Ismail refrezh Ala. The second team of the organization qualified for ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023 and BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2023 with him.
Stanislaw’s path
Stanislaw joined EG Black in August 2022 and took on captain duties. However, under his leadership, the team could not achieve success. During the eight months spent with him, the team played 86 maps (ten tournaments) — 55 of them in the regular seasons of the ESL Challenger League. Their best result was second place at the ESL Challenger League Season 43 for North America. After being expelled from EG Black, Yarguz became a free agent.
Evil Geniuses CS:GO team’s structure
Earlier, the club had three CS:GO teams — Evil Geniuses, EG Black, and EG White. However, on March 20, it became known that the organization's management decided to revise the approach to working with the teams and training athletes. As a result, the EG White roster was disbanded, and its players received the status of free agents.
Thus, the club plans to focus on the main and the academic teams. Unfortunately, the plan to develop three teams failed simultaneously.
When will EG Black play?
The next tournament for EG Black will be ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023. Colba Walco Walsh’s team was seeded in Group A, where they will play against Grayhound Gaming in the first round. The match will take place on April 28 at 5:10 EEST, and the pre-match statistics are available here.
