Spirit advances to the second round of the ESL Pro League Season 20 playoffs after knocking out FURIA

Spirit continues its journey at the ESL Pro League Season 20 with a convincing 2-0 victory over FURIA. The Russian team demonstrated a confident performance, leaving no chance for their Brazilian rivals in the tournament playoffs. Despite a brief comeback attempt by FURIA on the Anubis map, thanks in part to Kaika “KSCERATO” Serato, their play was not enough to stop Spirit.

The course of the game

The first map, Anubis, started off with FURIA playing strongly, but towards the end of the map they made a few mistakes in their economic management, which led to a loss of control. Spirit took advantage of these moments and confidently closed the map. The second map was also won by the Russian team without any major problems. The MVP was sh1ro with a rating of 7.1 and K/D +14.

What's next.

Thanks to this victory, Spirit are now in the second round of the playoffs, where they will face another Brazilian team, Imperial. Their match promises to be intense, as both teams aim to advance as far as possible in the tournament.

FURIA leaves the tournament

For FURIA, this tournament ended in disappointment as they were unable to advance further in the tournament bracket. Their performance at ESL Pro League Season 20 left more questions than answers, and the team will now focus on preparing for the next tournaments.
