The collector and CEO of a Myanmar fertilizer company made one of the most expensive deals in the history of CS:GO, paying $124,000 for the knife.
The businessman purchased a very rare Karambit | Case Hardened with the #888 pattern. This skin belongs to the so-called "blue gems", so its in-game side is completely painted blue. The backside is almost entirely golden, with only a small blue patch near the handle. It is worth adding that the number 8 is considered a lucky symbol in China, which adds value to this knife on the Asian market.

It should be noted that only two Karambit | Case Hardened with a similar pattern number have been obtained in the game, making this cosmetic item one of the rarest in CS:GO.
Recall that earlier another Karambit | Case Hardened with the pattern #387 was sold for about $100,000. Together with it, an AK-47 | Case Hardened with four Titan stickers from EMS One Katowice 2014 was bought for $400,000.
