The founder of the esports organization Nakama Esports Ryshar shox Papillon has decided to withdraw from participation in the further development of the organization. The French professional player said that he does not plan to leave the competitive scene of Counter-Strike.
Focus on his own career
Shox noted that at the beginning of 2023, he devoted all his free time and resources to the Nakama Esports project but eventually decided to focus on his gaming career. According to Papillon, managing the club not only required financial investments from him but also took away a lot of energy that he could have used for personal development. The French athlete plans to find a team to participate in further competitions.
The main goal of Nakama Esports has failed
The team’s roster was presented in January 2023, and its main goal was to perform at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. The team failed and could not even pass the open qualifiers for the European tournaments of the RMR series.
Along with Papillon, Jason Kyojin Nguyen left Nakama. Both players will continue to play for the team at ESEA Advanced Europe Season 45 until the organization finds a replacement for them.
Shox has been on the professional Counter-Strike scene since 2006. During this period, he became a real shooter legend, won many championships, and earned over $800,000. At the publication time, it is unknown where the French pro player would continue his career.
