The Virtus.pro team will undergo significant changes before the start of the IEM Katowice 2025 playoffs. Timur “FL4MUS” Marev announced on his social media that he would not be able to continue participating in the tournament due to the expiration of his visa.
“This was my last game at this tournament because my visa expires tomorrow,” FL4MUS said. “I got this visa before I joined Virtus.pro. For future tournaments, I already have a new visa, so I won't have such problems anymore.”
Despite the loss of the player, the team has not yet announced an official replacement. However, according to HLTV, Nikolay “mir” Bitiukov is listed in Virtus.pro's application for the tournament as a substitute.
Virtus.pro's successful path to the playoffs
Virtus.pro exceeded expectations, starting their journey with difficult matches in the Play-In stage. The team improved their game from series to series, winning against Eternal Fire and G2, which secured their place in the playoffs.
In the group stage matches, FL4MUS showed stable results:

Playoffs start against Spirit
In the first match of the playoffs, Virtus.pro will meet Spirit in the quarterfinals. This will be a tough challenge for the weakened Virtus.pro team, as Spirit has been playing strong at this tournament. In case of victory, Virtus.pro will be able to keep a chance to fight for the main prize of $400,000.
