«I did not play my roles, not in my positions and did not have any influence in the team.»: sdy shared his opinion about NAVI

Player of Monte, Victor sdy Orudjev, shared his thoughts on time spent in Natus Vincere in an interview with the players.com.ua portal.

sdy played as a stand-in for NAVI from June 3 to December 30, 2022. In six months, Orudzhev and the team won the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 trophy and were 5-8th at the IEM Rio Major 2022. The Ukrainian club stopped working with sdy due to the player's age. His place in the team's starting lineup was taken by academy graduate Andrii npl Kukharskyi.

If I fully evaluate everything that happened in six months, then I did not play my roles, not in my positions and did not have any influence in the team. Now I understand how important this is for me. Obviously, I did not even play at 50% of my abilities, but it depended only on me. NAVI needed a radically different player. In conversations with Andriy [B1ad3], I told him that the player they need doesn't exist. Now we are seeing a big restructure in the team, which is pretty obvious.

Orudjev also shared his opinion about Natus Vincere with a new player in the roster.

It takes a lot of time, but this is NAVI. I think they will return to their place, I hope and I will cheer [for them]. Andrey [npl] is a good player and will take his toll over time. The main thing is that the entire training process is well built for this.

After leaving NAVI, Orudzhev moved to Monte. Together with his new team, sdy has already played in several tier-2 tournaments. Monte is set to participate in the closed qualifier for the Europe RMR ahead of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
