ScreaM hinted at a possible return to Counter-Strike after a disastrous season in Valorant

Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom, a Valorant player for the French club Karmine Corp, may return to Counter-Strike after the shooter fully transitions to a new version. The Belgian hinted at this on Twitter after his team failed to qualify for Valorant Champions 2023, the most important tournament of the season, comparable to a major in CS:GO.

I've never flown home so quickly after a game before, I'm already back. It's time to take a little break and think about the possible options for the future of my career. I've heard that a certain game is coming out soon...

In the past, ScreaM was one of the most famous players in CS:GO, despite comparatively average results at Tier 1 events. The player became famous primarily for his aim and was called a headshot machine due to his high percentage of headshots.

Before moving to Valorant in 2020, he had played for G2, Envy, GamerLegion and other organizations. His brother, Nabil "Nivera" Berlitom, also played CS:GO at a professional level for several years, being the sixth player of Vitality, but in 2021 he also moved to Riot Games' shooter, joining his brother's team: first it was Liquid, and then - Karmine Corp.

The release date for Counter-Strike 2 is still unknown. In the early spring when the game was announced, Valve said that the release would be in the summer of 2023. Nevertheless, part of the community believes that the full launch of CS2 will be closer to the middle or end of autumn. The first major for the new version of the game, in turn, will take place in March 2024.
