SAW has announced the transfer of Michel “ewjerkz” Pinta to the transfer list. This decision was made taking into account the player's desire to try himself on the international stage. As a replacement, Jose “Shr” Gil was added, who previously played for SAW Youngsters in 2021 and represented several Portuguese teams, the last of which was GTZ.
The legacy of ewjerkz in SAW
Michel “ewjerkz” Pinto joined SAW in July 2022 and quickly became one of the team's key players. In two years, he helped SAW reach the first major in its history - PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, as well as enter the top 10 of the world rankings. His average rating for the year was 6.4, which indicates a stable and high level of play. ewjerkz often topped the frag table and demonstrated exceptional skills in opening duels. The player was especially useful during SAW's international performances, in particular at IEM Cologne 2024, where the team reached the semifinals.
