Falcons' problems in 2024
SunPayus was the best player on the team in terms of rating, but this was not enough for success. After the IEM Katowice semifinals at the beginning of the year, the Falcons lost their position in the top 10 and were eliminated from the groups at all major tournaments.
A new chance for the Falcons
Head coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen announced the need for changes after the failure at the BLAST Premier Fall Final. s1mple, who has not played on the professional scene for almost a year, now has a chance to return to the competitive level and help the team at RMR and Shanghai Major.
s1mple's plans for his return
"It's time to return to LAN, it's been my goal since the beginning to play Shanghai Major! ” s1mple wrote in his post on X. He thanked Falcons and NAVI for the opportunity and assured the fans that he would do his best to succeed.
Time to be back at LAN, that’s was my goal from the very beginning - to play the Shanghai Major! I’m very glad that we will have official games before we fix the mistakes and play the main tournament of this year! Thank you for opportunity both @TeamFalconsGG and @natusvincere… https://t.co/PUEFjEPK2T
