S1mple: "I Think Our Team Fell Apart Because of the War"

Natus Vincere's sniper Alexander s1mple Kostylov commented on the team's game form decline. At the press conference before BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, he also told how the team will correct the situation in 2023.

I still believe that our team fell apart because of the war, only because of the war. We lost at the LAN in Katowice for the first time, where the war started two days before the semi-finals. It's very sad, especially when you try to create your era and win a lot. And it's not because we kicked a player or something happened in the team, but because war has started. And when you think about it, you ask why? Why did this happen to us?

S1mple noted that "born to win" needs to train more and is going to boot camps next year.

I think we need to train as much as possible. Last year, we had only two ten-day boot camps. In 2021, we had five or six two-week boot camps. This is a completely different preparation for tournaments.
