Chinese organization Royal Never Give Up, in light of the launch of the Chinese region in the game Valorant, has bolstered their roster by signing a new head coach - John "Papasmurf" Yoo. The coach himself shared this news on his Twitter page.

Experience of the New Coach

John "Papasmurf" Yoo is a renowned coach who started his career at the dawn of the Valorant esports scene in 2020, joining the roster of NP Hunters. In just three years of coaching, he gained immense experience working with various teams at different levels and in different regions.

However, his most notable achievement was the fifth-sixth place he secured with the team Bonkers at the VCT Challengers Ascension: Pacific 2023 tournament. His significant contribution greatly aided the development of this team and propelled them to the pinnacle of the Oceanic Valorant scene.

However, with the announcement of China as a new region in Valorant, an increase in the number of tournaments in this region is expected.
