FaZe claimed victory over MOUZ in the winners' match of the group stage at the CS2 Asia Championships 2023. FaZe secured a place in the semi-finals of the championship, but MOUZ also advanced to the playoffs, albeit only to the quarterfinals.
First, MOUZ won their own map, Mirage, 13:11, but FaZe responded with wins on Nuke and Overpass – both ending with a score of 13:8 in favor of Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team.
Robin "ropz" Kool made a huge contribution to the victory, becoming the top fragger by a wide margin from the nearest pursuers in terms of statistics. A KD difference of 68/45 and an average damage per round of 102 units, as well as three won clutches, speak for themselves.
The last match of the group stage is a decider between Wings Up and NIP – one of these teams will perform in the quarterfinals of the CS2 Asia Championships 2023. The match between the two teams is already live.
The CS2 Asia Championships 2023 is taking place from November 8 to 12 in Shanghai, China. Teams are competing for a prize pool of $500,000. You can follow the schedule and results of the competition here.
