ropz believes that initially, CS2 needs to be promoted in every possible way to make the transition from CS:GO smoother.
I think there are two perspectives here: some believe CS2 is unplayable, while others think it's not ready for tournament play. You can play it, those who think otherwise are deeply mistaken. The game isn’t ready for competitive matches, but I think we should continue. Clearly, there's a lot of work to be done, and we don’t even know what the meta will be with the new changes. With smokes, open skyboxes, and everything else. So, moving forward, you just need to somehow push CS2, you need to make teams play CS2 tournaments because it’s the best way to accelerate the process. [...] Well, it's a new game, people should approach it with an open mind and realize that it will take some time. It won’t be perfect from the start, we just need patience and openness.
Note that FaZe was among the few teams who voted to finish the ongoing EPL S18 on CS2. However, FaZe themselves finished 9-12th in the tournament, earning $25,000.
