FaZe Clan rifler Robin "ropz" Kool received the Most Valuable Player award at the first-ever tier-1 LAN for Counter-Strike 2 - Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 by ESL!
ropz's average rating over all 17 maps played was 6.5, one of the best in the team.
Throughout the tournament, ropz also showed excellent statistics in the success rate of first kills per round.
Of course, it's impossible not to note the phenomenal headshot percentage from ropz, which was 61.1%!
ropz also stood out for the number of multikills in the championship:
- ACE - 1 time
- 4 kills in a round - 2 times
- Triple kill - 15 times
- Double kill - 47 times

Overall, as we can see, hard work pays off. It was ropz who started training first in CS2 and consistently played it. Arriving at the tournament, he had the highest number of hours in the last two weeks, specifically 131!
IEM Sydney 2023 takes place from October 16 to 22. Teams are competing for a prize pool of $250,000. The champion will also receive a slot at IEM Katowice 2024. The schedule and results of the competition can be tracked here.
