On December 18, Riot Games officially announced the tournament bracket for VCT CHINA 2025 KICK-OFF. The tournament will commence on January 11, 2025, in Shanghai and run until the first half of February.

VCT CHINA 2025 KICK-OFF is an official Riot Games event featuring 12 teams: 10 partnered teams from China and 2 teams that qualified through the Ascension series. The top two teams will secure spots at the VCT 2025 Masters Bangkok.

The tournament will use a Double Elimination format with BO3 matches, except for the Grand Final and Lower Bracket Final, which will follow a BO5 format. Teams EDward Gaming, Trace Esports, FunPlus Phoenix, and Bilibili Gaming, who competed at VALORANT Champions 2024, will start their journey from the second round.
