Results of the first gaming day at ESL Impact League Season 5

The first game day of ESL Impact League Season 5 in Dallas has concluded. Imperial Female and Let Her Cook have already advanced to the playoffs, finishing first in their groups by winning two BO1 matches.

In the opening matches of the two groups, the victorious teams were Imperial Female, BIG EQUIPA, Let Her Cook, and Fluxo Demons. The losing teams fell into a tournament elimination match where TSM already played against NAVI Javelins; TSM lost 2-0 and left the tournament in last place, earning $4,000. Meanwhile, NAVI Javelins will face Fluxo Demons, with the winner advancing to the playoffs. The winner of NAVI Javelins/Fluxo Demons will face Imperial Female in the semifinals of the tournament.

 
 

After the first game day, Rachel “RacheLL” Kujawa emerged as the best player of the day, finishing with a rating of 8.4. Meanwhile, Hania “Hanka” Pudlis has the highest headshot percentage at 76.9%. Additionally, this tournament is the most attended women's event ever, indicating a growing interest in women's esports.

 
 

The tournament, with a prize pool of $123,000, will continue until June 2nd, where the top women's esports teams will compete not only for the $50,000 first-place prize but also for the title of the best women's team.
