Rejin: "We talked to Astralis about blameF and have already discussed all the details including the buyout"

In an interview with dust2.dk, TSM coach Rejin shared details about the updated TSM roster. When rumors began to circulate that TSM was going to create a Danish lineup, several player names were discussed. Players like Altekz, acoR, nicoodoz, and roeJ were mentioned in this context, but no insiders could reveal that blameF was also among the potential candidates.

Rejin also revealed that in the early stages, when TSM started considering Danish players, they were in talks with blameF, who eventually joined fnatic.

We talked to Astralis about blameF to try to get him. As I understand it, the contract was already agreed upon by blameF regarding TSM, and the buyout was also approved
Rejin said
But blameF was always honest, saying he was unsure about TSM, as he had another offer, which turned out to be from fnatic. He chose fnatic
he added.

In addition to blameF, there were also plans to invite k0nfig, but the player, who is currently on the bench at NIP, wanted to wait and see how the situation with blameF would be resolved.

We also had k0nfig, who was supposed to be the last player. Everything was ready with his buyout and so on. He wanted to wait because of the situation with blameF, which I understood. It's not worth agreeing to something if you're not 100% sure
Rejin explained

If TSM and Rejin had managed to convince blameF and k0nfig, these two would have joined acoR, Zyphon, and valde. Instead, the team ended up with Altekz and niko. Rejin also mentioned that he had dinner with the proposed roster to make sure they were a good fit for each other before signing contracts.
