Reason parts ways with North American roster, as Vintage seeks new sponsors

After a five-month collaboration with Reason, the North American Counter-Strike team, now known as Vintage, has announced its search for a new home in 2024. British organization Reason Gaming and the team have decided to part ways after Vintage secured their spot in ESL Challenger League Season 47: North America by defeating Bad News Bears in the decisive match.

Reason returned to Counter-Strike in July after a long hiatus, assembling the former No Impact team. However, their first attempt was challenging, finishing ESL Challenger League Season 46: North America with a 2-12 record. Despite this, the team united and managed to regain their position in the next season before deciding to part ways with player Brodie "BeaKie" Kelly on December 17th.

Sean "Coastal" Thompson revealed that the decision to leave Reason was due to limited support the British organization could offer the American lineup, including a lack of salary for five months. This fact is key for Vintage in their search for a new home.

Additionally, Vintage is experiencing other changes in its lineup, particularly the departure of Austin "AJaxz" Janocha, who noted that his full-time job hinders his participation in competitions. As a result, the team needs to find two new players

 to resume their activities after the winter break.
