Rare Atom won the Asian qualifier for the BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2023

Rare Atom will be the sole representative of the Asian region at the BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2023. They became the fifth team and the fourth team to qualify for the tournament after BIG, NIP, and OG, who took the last spots in the Spring Groups.

Rare Atom's Path

Throughout the entire qualifier, the Chinese club lost only one map, and that was in the grand final against Lynn Vision. Rare Atom can now rightfully be called the strongest Asian team after IHC. The Mongolian team still often competes in tier-1 international tournaments, occasionally defeating American clubs.

The BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2023 will take place from March 29th to April 2nd. The teams have not yet been determined. Qualifiers for Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Scandinavia will take place in March. Organizers will also give one team a direct invite to the tournament.

Only one team from the eight competing in the Spring Finals will advance. The Showdown will be held in a Single Elimination format, and all matches will be best-of-3.
