PlayLikeS1mple school closing - subscribers began receiving refunds

Everyone who bought a subscription in the PlayLikeS1mple project started receiving money back The school created by Alexander Kostylev and his brother Alexei attracted a lot of attention at first, but in less than two months there was an unexpected turnaround

At launch, s1mple promised community events and tournaments among subscribers, as well as the creation of a Discord server where all participants could communicate with him S1mple stated that he wanted to see less bugs in the game and more teamwork, aiming for a beautiful Counter-Strike experience However, now it seems that he doesn't want to or not as much, either way we'll have to wait for an official statement

PlayLikeS1mple School opened on May 13 and for almost a month viewers received free content In the first days after the launch, Alexey Kostylev shared impressive statistics of the project: the audience reach amounted to 27 million people, 80 thousand users registered, and the reach in social networks reached 10 million people These figures reflect the huge interest in the project, which seemed to guarantee its success

On June 3, sales of paid subscriptions for a year began The cost in the first five days was $97 dollars, with a subsequent increase to $149 dollars However, less than two months later, all users received a refund notice

Prior to receiving the refund notices, users of the project complained that the three free video tutorials had been unavailable on the site for more than two weeks The videos became private and could not be viewed, which may have also happened with the subscription videos

Alexander Kostylev, also known as s1mple, has not yet commented publicly on the school's closure This leaves many questions about the fate of the project and the future plans of its creator
