PGL has unveiled the schedule for its first tournament in 2025 - PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, which will be held in Romania. The competition will start on February 14, bringing together 16 teams that will compete for a $1.25 million prize pool.

The tournament will start with the Swiss stage, which will consist of five rounds and will be held at the PGL studio in Bucharest. The top eight teams in the group stage will travel to Cluj-Napoca, where the famous BTarena will host the knockout playoffs. This arena has already hosted players in 2015 during the PGL Major Cluj-Napoca, which left a bright mark in the history of CS.

The first day of the Swiss stage will give fans many intriguing matches. All 16 teams were invited according to the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) rating, which also determined the starting pairs.

At the start of the tournament, fans will be able to watch interesting confrontations, including the match MOUZ will face BIG in the debut match of Lotan “Spinx” Giladi for the team after an unsuccessful performance at IEM Katowice. The match between Pain Gaming and Astralis promises to be no less intense, as it will be a test of strength for the Brazilian team.
