The fourth day of PGL Bucharest 2025 was one of the most emotional in the entire tournament. Someone got a place in the playoffs, someone said goodbye to the tournament, and someone said goodbye to their dignity. Memes, clutches, emotions, and a lot of pain - here's a brief summary of the day's highlights.
Aurora vs. Apogee - passage to the playoffs
Aurora showed a confident game against Apogee and won 2-0 (Mirage 13:6, Anubis 16:12). The MVP of the match was wicadia, who made 46 frags in two maps, and on Mirage he made 25-10 with ADR 123. It's also worth mentioning hfah from Apogee - even though the team lost, he became EVP for stability and clutches.
This match was not without drama: hypex took a 1v2 clutch, surviving literally a microsecond before he was supposed to be killed by HE. However, after that, Aurora pressed their opponent and moved on with a 3-1 victory.
Apogee, on the other hand, with a 2-2 record, have one more chance at the playoffs.

FURIA vs The MongolZ - the last call
The MongolZ, despite a terrible start, level the score to 2-2 and stay in the race. And yes, it was blitZ that became the hero of the photo day - thanks to its mat, which seems to occupy half the table. A real “trophy” in the “Rug of the Year” nomination.

Falcons vs Rare Atom - a one-man show
The match was fast but loud. Falcons easily defeated Rare Atom, and NiKo played the main role in the performance. At first, he made a quad kill in the pistol, immediately making it clear who the boss was. Later, a 1v3 clutch to the applause of the Twitch chat ended the game - Falcons reached matchpoint and pressed on.

The irony is that NiKo was a meme hero yesterday, and today he is the hero of the match. His form finally allows Falcons fans to not only suffer but also enjoy highlights.

But even the victory did not save the Falcons from trolling. Reddit continues to mock the star on the uniform, which was awarded for winning disciplines such as Free Fire at EWC 2024, not CS2. The community already associates it with the Gold Nova medal.

Are NAVI teasing s1mple's comeback?
And attentive viewers also noticed a reference to Christopher Nolan's Inception - the final shot with the bell and the spinning top was a direct allusion, because it was this object that allowed him to detect whether he was in reality or in a dream throughout the story. When the spinning bell didn't stop, it meant that the hero was still asleep. In short, NAVI was hinted at very loudly.

Complexity vs FaZe - memes instead of tears
Complexity is celebrating the playoffs, and the entire Internet is with them. Their former player EliGE, who joined FaZe in January, has now lost to the “ exes ” himself.

The game had another unique moment: a Norwegian stabbed a Norwegian on a LAN in Romania.

“Now you've seen it all.”

GamerLegion - REZ opens a new page
GamerLegion also made it to the playoffs, and the community couldn't pass it by. They posted a meme: “7 years in NiP - 0 playoffs. 3 months with GL and you're already at the top.” Obviously, this is about REZ, which has found its place here.

After the game, James Banks also noted that this is the first major playoff for many GL players, and they deservedly move on after a 3-1 series.

Astralis - complete degradation
Astralis, on the other hand, is in a bad way. Very bad. Commenter justharry did not hold back:
They have no hope. the device looks like a lost old fart who doesn't realize where he is and who he's playing with.justharry

And finally, stavn. After the victory, he did not hold back his emotions - his joy was so sincere that fans compared it to the reaction of a boy who won a PlayStation for the New Year.
