MESA organizers have announced that their MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 tournament will be held on an old patch, pending a May 23 update that includes changes to the Vertigo map, as well as changes to the Molotov and M4A4. They noted on their social media accounts that the decision was made to “allow players to compete on a level playing field and avoid any adjustments before the event begins.”
Due to the recent release of the new Counter-Strike version on May 23rd, the Nomadic Masters organizers have decided to stick with the familiar Counter-Strike 2 for the tournament 🙌

This decision follows ESL's announcement that the upcoming IEM Dallas 2024 tournament will feature the latest CS2 update. This highlights the differences in how tournament organizers approach the rollout of new game updates, which could impact team preparation and strategy.
Thus, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 will offer players the opportunity to compete in familiar environments, while IEM Dallas will offer more chaotic gameplay when teams that haven't quite had time to adapt to the new changes in game conditions with the latest change in CS2.
The tournament will run from May 28 to June 2, where 8 teams will battle it out for a $100,000 offline prize pool. The teams taking part are Aurora, Lynn Vision, TheMongolz, Gaimin Gladiators, Bleed, Chinggis Warriors, OG, ATOX.
