Legendary Swedish player Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer holds the CS:GO record for the most days spent on the substitute bench due to his active contract with the organization FaZe Clan.
He played his last match for FaZe Clan in 2021 at the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter, but that was just as a stand-in. Olofmeister was first benched in the Fnatic team in 2016.
Then he returned to the bench five more times in FaZe Clan, occurring on these dates:
- From May 4, 2016, to June 13, 2016 (Fnatic)
- From April 1, 2018, to May 25, 2018 (FaZe Clan)
- From June 5, 2018, to July 10, 2018 (FaZe Clan)
- From May 23, 2020, to October 28, 2020 (FaZe Clan)
- From February 14, 2021, to June 14, 2021 (FaZe Clan)
- From January 3 to the present day (FaZe Clan)
In total, over these 7 years, olofmeister spent 1082 days on the bench! According to official data, olofmeister received about 12,000 euros each month last year.
It's reliably unknown for how long he signed the contract with the organization and when it expires, as well as what salary he receives while sitting on the bench, or if he receives it at all.
