Tonight, it was announced that Team Jadeite has signed a unique and fully Japanese roster for Counter-Strike 2. This was made known through the organization's official Twitter.
It is notable that throughout the history of competitive Counter-Strike, only about 10 Japanese players have managed to compete at a significant level. This is largely due to the small number of championships compared to Europe.
However, the Team Jadeite guys recently made it to the playoffs of the ESEA S47 Open League, finishing in sixth place. They also participated in the DreamHack Japan National Invitational, though that was in CS:GO.
