Today, the Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere announced on its official website that team sniper Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev will miss the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023.
According to the organization, team coach Andriy "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy will replace s1mple at the championship:
At the IEM Sydney 2023 tournament, the NAVI Counter-Strike team will perform with changes in the lineup: coach Andriy "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy will take the place of Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev.

Notably, B1ad3 ended his career in 2018 and hasn't appeared in official matches for 1960 days, and this will be his first appearance after such a long break.
We remind you that Natus Vincere's first match at the championship is scheduled for October 16 against the Apeks team. The match is set to begin at 03:00 Kyiv time.
Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 - the first tournament in CS2, taking place in LAN format in Sydney from October 16 to 22, 2023. The championship's prize pool is $250,000, with a total of 16 teams participating.
