On September 28, 2023, the Swedish rifler, Ludwig Brollan Brolin, officially left the Ninjas in Pyjamas team. The organization officially announced this on its Twitter.
Ludwig started his journey with NiP on March 22, 2022, and during that time, he and the team managed to earn almost half a million dollars in prizes, namely $430,494. Truth be told, there's turmoil within Ninjas in Pyjamas as 4 days ago the team was left by its former captain Hampus "hampus" Poser, and he was replaced by a substitute player, Patrick "es3tag" Hansen.
Throughout his time in the team, Ludwig participated in exactly thirty championships, but to be honest, the team's results were far from ideal. Their most successful appearances were:
- BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023 (1-3 place)
- BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 (3-4 place)
- BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022 (3-4 place)
- Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022 (1st place)
Having been in the team for over a year and a half, Ludwig has not yet made an official statement about his departure, indicating possible chaos within the team despite their active participation in various championships.
Ninjas in Pyjamas:
Our second decision about the team roster has been made, and in light of this, we've decided to bench Ludwig and give him the opportunity to explore other possibilities. Thank you, Ludwig, for the effort and passion you brought to the team. We look forward to seeing you shine as one of Sweden's brightest stars.
Note that he was previously replaced by the nineteen-year-old academy player Max "maxster" Jansson, who will continue to replace Ludwig until the organization announces a new player:
We would also like to thank maxster, as he will be substituting one of our players for a while until we announce our permanent fifth player. Thanks for your patience and stay with us, ninjas. #GONINJAS
The team's lineup is now as follows:
