The experienced North American roster of NRG received a second chance to qualify for the Major after Rocket was recently banned for using cheats on FACEIT.

NRG's first attempt to qualify for RMR in America was a disappointment: they failed to make it through the closed qualifiers. However, Rocket's ban on FACEIT, a popular matchmaking platform, opened the door for another team.

NRG will take Rocket's place at the RMR tournament, representing North America along with FURIA Esports, paiN Gaming and Team Liquid. This unexpected turn of events gives NRG a valuable opportunity to rehabilitate itself and get the coveted slot at the Major.

NRG consists of experienced players who have repeatedly proven their worth at the largest tournaments.
