Former NAVI player Andriy “npl” Kukharsky, in his latest interview with HLTV, shared his experience of playing for Natus Vincere in 2023, as well as talked about his transition to B8. The player, who is currently playing as an IGL (in-game leader) for B8, noted the great influence that his former teammates and B1ad3 coach had on him.
“I was afraid to play with s1mple and the legends, but they helped”
Npl admitted that when he joined NAVI, he was scared at first because he had to play with legends who had already won majors. But, according to Andriy, s1mple and other players helped him to adapt a lot.
“When I joined NAVI, I was the little guy who came from the academy. I was a little bit afraid to play with s1mple and these legends, but they helped me,” npl said.
Experience gained at NAVI helps in new role
Currently, npl plays for B8 and notes that the experience he gained in NAVI helped him become a better player and IGL. He also noted that his coach at B8, maddened, also helped him regain his confidence after a tough time at NAVI.
“My time in NAVI gave me a lot, especially B1ad3 and the other guys,” npl emphasized.
B8's future plans for tournaments
The team has several important tournaments ahead of them, including ESL Challenger Katowice and RMR. Npl believes that participation in these competitions will help the team gain the necessary experience for successful performances on LAN.
Now, together with the new lineup, B8 continue their way to the top of the world stage, and npl is confident in their success.
