NOM parted ways with their CS2 roster

Shiran “shushan” Shushan has officially announced his departure from the NOM Esports team after a failed attempt to qualify for Asia RMR for the Perfect World Shanghai Major. This was due to the end of his contract with the organization, and shushan shared his thoughts on Twitter.

NOM's difficulties at qualification

NOM's path to Middle East RMR qualification ended early after losses to Onyx Ravens and DRILLAS (team ohnePixel). The team had high hopes of qualifying for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR, but the defeats resulted in an early exit. Despite the losses, shushan acknowledged the efforts of his teammates and the organization, highlighting the positive atmosphere on the team throughout the season.

Acknowledgments to Shushan

In his farewell statement, shushan thanked several key members of the organization, including management and teammates, expressing his appreciation for their support. He especially thanked the CEO and COO for organizing the trip to Dubai, which allowed the team to play in better conditions.

Future of the team

Additionally, shushan confirmed that while the team will finish the current ESEA season together, all players are now free agents, which puts the future of the NOM roster in question.
