Heroic officially announced that nicoodoz will replace degster at the upcoming IEM Dallas 2024 tournament. This came as a surprise to everyone, as nicoodoz was nearly signed by a new organization.

On May 11, nicoodoz was benched and rumored to have signed a contract with TSM. Transitioning from his usual sniper role to a rifler role, he will, nevertheless, return to his AWP position at this tournament. The team's first challenge will be a BO1 match against Virtus.Pro, which will take place in Group B.

The tournament, running from May 27 to June 2, has a prize pool of $250,000 and offers a slot at IEM Cologne 2024. Unfortunately, degster will miss the tournament due to unresolved visa issues, and nicoodoz will temporarily replace him at this event.

These short-term changes to Heroic's lineup add intrigue and unpredictability to their matches at IEM Dallas. After the tournament, nicoodoz is likely to officially leave the team and join a new one.
