After the elimination of HEROIC's FaZe at IEM Dallas 2025,  Filip "NEO" Kubski  shared his thoughts on the reasons for the failure. He noted the strong play of the opponent, who acted unpredictably and managed to surprise FaZe. This was a key factor in the team's loss.

They played really good CS - unpredictable, caught us off guard a couple of times. They're a great team, and it wasn't an easy one

Problems with the lineup: Lack of rain and s1mple integration

NEO talked about the challenges the team faced. The arrival of s1mple in the lineup was supposed to be a saving grace, but the lack of rain added to the chaos. Also, the team had limited time to train with temporary player skullz, although NEO praised his contribution.

Sasha was part of that move, but then we had the hole as well: rain, who was missing here. So that's like an extra factor of, you know, being more random. We haven't had many practice days with Felipe, and I would like to thank him for stepping up and playing with us. He's a great player, and he has a bright future ahead of him.

Future plans: Preparing for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025

NEO also spoke about FaZe's next steps. The team will stay in the United States to prepare for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 2, which starts on June 7. Rain will join them and they will hold a bootcamp before the tournament.

We're gonna stay here in the US. Håvard is going to join us soon, and we're going to have a boot camp before the Major. So hopefully we're going to get enough practice days before the biggest tournament of the year.

The loss at IEM Dallas was a blow to FaZe, but NEO remains optimistic. With the return of the rain and additional training, the team hopes to return to the fight for trophies at the next Major. The CS2 community is looking forward to watching them perform.
